Isabelle "Izzy" has suffered such great loss in her life. She has been broken for so long. She is trying to be strong and escape her abusive husband, but he is fighting her in every way. A man she gave her heart and soul to walks back into her life, a man she thought was dead, everything she thought is turned upside down. Why is he so angry with her? He is the one who left her and never looked back, or did he? WOW! What can I say about Axel and Izzy except WOW! Amazing story and one that I know I will read again and again. Even though Izzy has had fate beat her down at every turn she is still a strong woman ready to fight for what she believes. Axel is the perfect Alpha male that is willing to do anything to have his Princess back again. Harper Sloan is a master at weaving a story around you with spice and romance, with a little dash of danger mixed in.
