~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Miranda Phillips has always had the reputation of being the bad girl and while growing up she may have encouraged that with her wild antics. Now, she is older and a star reporter for Lone Star's paper but the town of Lone Star won't forget. So when she sets her eyes on the Ryan John a local rancher and town board member, she knows she is playing with fire. When a sinful encounter at a wedding she knows he wants her too. Ryan wants Miranda but he is raising his twin siblings and knows that he has be a good role model and dating the town bad girl isn't the way to go. When he needs her help with a problem it pushes them closer together and their connection catches fire. Can Ryan keep Miranda as his dirty little secret or risk the waging tongues to take what is his?
I liked this story of people who aren't what they seem. Miranda has not had an easy life and there is more to her past behavior than anyone knows. She can't seem to break out of the reputation from her past even though she isn't that person anymore. This story is romance, suspense and going past perceptions. Good story and characters. I will definitely read the next book in this series.
