Wow! Every book I have read by Alora Kate is just better than the one before. This is definitely a case of the author improves with every new book. This new series is going to be a jaw dropper. I loved all the twists and turns that we follow along with Alexa and Ki. When Ki falls into Prescot's office to serve him it all begins a whirlwind, but she is in the middle of something she never expected. Something that will turn her world upside down. I have to say this story was amazing and the way Ki and Prescot didn't just give in. They both have demons to fight. Prescot's story made me weep. For such a strong man he was fighting some pretty horrible memories of his past. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series and find out more about Alexa and Tapper.

Alora Kate is a fantastic storyteller. This is the first book I've read by her and I loved it.
